Become a Volunteer
Join a movement for collective growth
Volunteering with Hearts for Change isn’t about “pity helping” it’s about walking side by side.
We believe we came into this world to hold each other’s hands, to practice collectivity, to learn from one another, and to discover new ways to shine.
How You Can Join
Live and work alongside our community. You could teach, run creative workshops, help with events, or bring a specific skill to share — from art to carpentry to coding. Every contribution is a piece of the bigger puzzle.

You don’t have to be in Kenya to make an impact. Support us from anywhere in the world, fundraise, help strengthen our European base, amplify our voice in your community, reach out to universities to attract more volunteers, or even lead a project that connects both worlds.
We co-design programs that create lasting outcomes for both the community and the participants. If you’re part of a university, company, or organization, we can tailor a volunteer or exchange program to align with shared goals. (More details in our PDF.)

Humility
Listen
Listen and ask questions before you propose an idea , and trust the local staff. We are mindful of not imposing our Bias.
Solidarity
At the end of your visit, if you’ve kept your heart and mind open, you might notice something inside you has shifted.
You didn’t just come here to contribute — you also came here to grow.
With awareness, this experience may leave you with new ways of loving, communicating, sharing, and thinking — small shifts that stay with you long after you’ve left.
Just as your presence helps shape the environment here, this place will quietly shape you too.
Best of Both Worlds

Plus, the school is only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach, so your downtime can include beach sunsets dance and a swim!
